The Newborn and Baby Experience
We'll artistically capture your baby's innocence and all the little details, while documenting your family's natural connections. You'll relax while I gently and safely pose your newborn and prompt your family.. Plus, to keep this a stress-free experience, I offer all the things... from wraps, bonnets, bows, outfits and props for baby to luxurious and comfortable gowns for Mama. And I'll be here to continue capturing milestone after milestone throughout these early years and as your children grow! For true newborn photography, I recommend scheduling between weeks 1-6, but I work with babies of all stages and ages.

The first step is to reach out. I want to hear your story! Tell me about your pregnancy? What do you love most about this time in your life? When is baby's due date or how old is your baby now? Let's talk so we can ensure there is availability. I only take on a limited number of sessions so each client receives the time she/he deserves. For newborns, I recommend contacting me well in advance of your due date to reserve a spot, but I photograph babies of all stages and ages. Tell me all about the newborn, milestone or cake smash session you're dreaming about.
1. Say Hello
Studio sessions take place in my Apex, NC boutique studio, and location sessions are available throughout the Triangle. If you're not sure which you'd like, we can talk through what you're envisioning, and I can always suggest the best type of session and location for you. Once we've nailed down the location, date, and time, I'll send over my client contract and your invoice for the retainer fee, which covers my time with you and reserves your session appointment. I'll also provide a questionnaire so I can get to know you better and help plan the most perfect newborn or milestone session.
2. Schedule it
And now the planning begins!! We'll work together to make your dream newborn or milestone session come to life. We'll talk about your vision and how you plan to enjoy your images: digitally, online, in albums, framed on the wall... I'll provide more information about all the color options, wraps, outfits and props, plus the luxurious selection of gowns and fabrics in my client closet that you can borrow. I can even help you style your whole family! I'll be here to answer all your questions in the weeks and days leading up to your session appointment. I also have a list of resources I can share with you if you need assistance with professional hair, make up, or styling.
3. Planning it
Let the magic begin. I'll gently and safely pose your newborn and direct your family to ensure everyone is feeling comfortable and relaxed, all while showcasing your precious baby. My newborn and baby sessions are baby-led to provide the best environment for your little one. We'll stop for snacks and I'll always follow baby's cues. I have photographed hundreds of newborns. You're in great hands.
4. Your Session
Within about a week you'll receive a gorgeous gallery of proofs from your session. You'll select your favorites, design your artwork, and choose your digitals. It's all up to you! You'll only purchase what you love, and have the option of ordering from the online gallery or working with me to make your image selections. From there, I'll edit your images to perfection and get everything delivered to you in a timely manner.
